Elijah Anatole is a filmmaker, storyteller, and creative director whose journey through journalism, politics, and faith has shaped a powerful cinematic voice. With over 20 years of experience in media and production, he weaves together technical skill and emotional storytelling to craft films that leave lasting impact.

Born and raised in Saint Lucia, Elijah’s passion for storytelling began early. In his 20s, he wrote staged plays at his local church—productions that delivered life-changing messages and became so impactful, they were requested by churches across the island. This deep connection to narrative and purpose would eventually shape his work in film.

His professional path began in journalism, reporting for The STAR Newspaper, one of Saint Lucia’s leading news publications. With a talent for unearthing human-centered stories, he transitioned into television, becoming a reporter for Choice News. His work reflected a consistent drive to inform, inspire, and uncover truth through the lens of real-world issues.

Elijah’s next chapter took him into the political arena. As a communications strategist and media advisor to then Opposition Leader Allen Chastanet, he played a key role in the 2016 Saint Lucia general elections. From developing political commercials to guiding national communication strategy, Elijah’s work contributed significantly to the campaign’s success and eventual victory.

Following the election, Elijah chose to pursue his lifelong dream of filmmaking and founded Artlas Studios. Originally focused on commercial and corporate content, the studio quickly evolved into a platform for story-driven films, with a mission to produce thought-provoking, emotionally resonant cinema rooted in real life.

Today, Elijah continues to create feature films and visual works that explore themes of healing, redemption, and the human condition. His projects span from documentaries and promotional campaigns to full-length faith-based dramas like Heartfall and A Flicker of Grace.
